Plenty of excitement can be found at the 9th Annual Ocean Isle Beach Flotilla that will take place on Saturday, November 24, 2012. The Boat Parade begins at dusk at the Shallotte River in front of Inlet View Bar & Grill and proceeds down the Waterway to the commercial canal in front of Sharky’s. Call 910-612-7799 or 910-612-2793 to enter a boat. The Tree Lighting will take place at 5 p.m. followed by a Visit with Santa at the OIB Fire Department. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served.
The nearby Holden Beach Tree Lighting, Chili Cook-Off and Holiday Flotilla will take place on November 29 beginning at 6 p.m.
