Some other events in the area of note are The Fall 2009 Litter Sweep.  It will take place October 17th at Rourk Gardens from 9am to Noon, where participants take pride in their town and clean up garbage and can enjoy the Hot Dog Cookout Social after wards.  The person who finds the most unusual piece of litter during clean up will get a cash prize.  Other events include the upcoming Christmas Tree lighting December 4th at 6pm also at Rourke Gardens and then 2009 Christmas Parade on the 5th at 10am.
